Thanks to C3 Taupo, New Zealand, we have been able to purchase six more treadle machines for the sewing school. This enables us to take in more ladies for the three month sewing course. We can now train fifteen ladies per class. Thank you C3 Taupo!

Christmas Shawls for the Winter
The Holi Team enjoyed a special breakfast of South Indian dosa's at the Campus Cafe to celebrate the end of another great year together. The spicy coconut chutney and thin crispy-like crepes' were enjoyed with hot coffee on the side and lots of photo taking and laughs. (To see more pics, join us on facebook.)

2015 August - No More Power Cuts Thanks to the Multicultural Council!
Here in rural India we endure random daily power cuts and the lights and fans go off during sewing classes. It gets so dark that it is difficult to continue sewing and so so hot (especially in April/May when the temperature gets up over 40 degrees C)! Thanks to a generous donation from a kind-hearted Multicultural Council in NZ, we have been be able to purchase a back-up electricity system! This...
2015 July - Nini and the bright yellow 'Suzie machine' at the Holi Boli sewing house in rural India
A huge 'thanks' to Suzie at Oosh New Zealand, who kindly donated funds for a new treadle sewing machine for our sewing classes. That means we can empower another lady per intake! Thanks Suzie, for helping our business expand. We know you love women looking after women.
During the Indian summer holiday (May/June) 2015, Ana enjoyed the novelty of popping in-store, in-person, to one of our favorite NZ retailers Two Lippy Ladies. "Thank you" Two Lippy Ladies for keeping the Holi Boli ladies busy with dress orders and supporting business with ethics.

A huge 'thanks' to Greta and team in Nelson for their amazing Vineyard Banquet to promote awareness and raise sales for Holi Boli in India. They sold many Holi Boli dresses on the night and also had donations for a ladies sewing class tuition fees and sponsorship for a new sewing machine! Thank you so much Nelson peps for your generosity!
Our last news was about Nini being empowered by the skills she gained at HB Sewing School. Now we are very excited to say that due to increasing demand we were able to employ Nini. So Awesome! Thanks to you guys for buying HB a wonderful lady is able to be a support for her whole family!
